Arrigoni presents its range of innovative productos at Macfrut 2024
- At Macfrut in Rimini, to be held from 8 to 10 May 2024, Arrigoni will be presenting all its fruit and vegetable solutions on Stand 130 in Hall C1
This year Arrigoni, European leader in the production of technical textiles for agriculture, will again be exhibiting at Macfrut, one of the fruit and vegetable industry’s top international events, to be held from 8 to 10 May at the Rimini exhibition centre. At Macfrut 2024, Arrigoni will be exhibiting all its innovative products for modern farming.
There will be a focus on screens for use as an alternative to pesticides, such as BIORETE® AIR PLUS (main image), a range of high-tenacity anti-insect nets with dense, light weave, in polyethylene monofilament. Their ARLENE-HT® yarn provides crops with the highest possible level of ventilation, while the different mesh sizes available enable targeted protection against the different types of insect.
Also on show will be PRISMA®, the range of polyethylene tape textiles with LD – Light Diffusion additive. These screens reflect IR radiation, improve the microclimate and reduce the temperature while increasing the diffused light percentage, to encourage better growth of the plants inside.

Arrigoni’s most innovative solutions also include PROTECTA®, a covering system in high-tenacity Arlene Diamond monofilament, able to provide temperature control, ventilation and high strength. In the latest tests performed on a farm in the United Kingdom which applied the PROTECTA® covering system, there were no significant changes in humidity values compared to the open field, with figures just 2% higher.

As well as these systems, at the Rimini show the Como-based group will also be displaying all its other crop protection solutions, from the FRUCTUS® anti-hail nets to the new products for use in the open field such as ARRICOVER®, an innovative multipurpose bio-climatic screen for the defence of open field and protected-environment crops.
