The future of plant production starts here
- The 37th edition of the SIVAL, International specialist plant production show, will take place at the Parc des Expositions in Angers, on the 16-17-18 January 2024

This new edition of the SIVAL will be reaffirming its fundamentals, both it’s DNA linked to innovation in the different sectors and its importance on the international scene. Beyond being an affirmation, the Show wants to reinforce its potential for the transmission of know-how, as a tool serving the different sectors and thus confirm its place within the leading shows both in France and internationally.
The first sign of this new ambition is visual with a renewed charter and a slogan that sets the tone : « SIVAL – The future of plant production starts here ».
SIVAL 2024 will be looking to new horizons with a common thread dedicated to the attractiveness of the different sectors and production sustainability. Behind this theme, the notions of employment, the management of people, occupations/new occupations, skills, the digital age, and innovation to help environmental transition…in short, the future.
Innovation, the true marker of the SIVAL, will be present, with its two emblematic competitions, the SIVAL Innovation Concours and the AgreenStartup Concours. They are the true guarantees of this permanent quest for innovation in the specialist plant production sector.
In order to go further and enable visitors, as well as exhibitors, to be totally immersed in the future of specialist plant production, the SIVAL wants to amplify all this knowledge by enabling the 360° deployment of all the content present at the Show. Themed visits, external visits, conferences, forums covering all types of production, themed forums, expert speakers, discovery of the different trends and innovations In-Situ… this wealth of know-how will be present and accessible using the SIVAL online application, before, during and after the Show.
At an international level, the SIVAL will be continuing its development with its unmissable appointement, such as the VIBE (Végépolys Valley International Business Event), The biannual FRUIT 2050 Event – new format (programme to come), as well as the presence of new foreign top buyer delegations.
2024, will also display the fruit of the work carried out over the last few years concerning the desire to spread the SIVAL’s, and the region’s, know-how internationally. Announced during the previous edition, the collaboration with Senegal will be completed this year (programme to come).
The SIVAL is also linked with North America, more precisely in Quebec, where the SIVAL is establishing itself with the AGTech, as an extension of its branding in 2023 for the year of Innovation France Quebec. This close relationship has led to the town of Québec being present at the SIVAL 2024. Digital will equally have a major role to play in this international amplification, notably due to the contents being available in English.
2024 will be a year for reaffirming and redeploying these ambitions in order to demonstrate the skills and know-how of the specialist plant production sector, both in France and abroad.
We look forward to seeing you on the 16th, 17th and 18th of January 2024 at Angers, because this is where the future of the specialist plant production sector is going to begin.
